Kenya School

If you are wondering why I have a dedicated a page of my site to Kenya, the simple reason is that I was born there and would like to give something back to the country of my childhood.

Nearly a hundred years ago my grandfather built a house which is now a school, named after him, in Koru - a sparsely populated part of the Rift Valley.

I am very keen to help this school survive. Some of the children walk miles every day to get to the school and their enthusiasm has to be seen to be believed.

Headmaster

It is a shame that the roof is now dilapidated and they struggle to maintain their supply of books and educational materials.

I aim to donate 10 per cent of Inkhead’s profits to help the school and have contacts in the country to ensure that my money is well spent. I also visit Kenya from time to time and will report back via this website of any improvements made.
